About Us
Anzan Technologies, LLC was founded in 2007 by a group of software developers who wanted to create a new kind of software development company. The company founders are all proponents of software engineering discipline and, as a result, Anzan is dedicated to the practical application of software engineering concepts in a commercial environment. Anzan is not alone in this pursuit, but our competition views the pursuit as a means to an end whereas we view the pursuit as the end itself. At Anzan we view our commercial ventures as the means to fuel our relentless improvement of the state of software development. In turn, improving our software development capability enables us to provide better commercial offerings. Better commercial offerings result in more funding to continue our research and so on, creating a healthy cycle that not only provides the world with valuable software but evolves the methods that we use to create it.
In addition to working on our flagship product, Savoy Selections, the Anzan founders have accepted various software development jobs in the last 3 years. Perhaps the most numerous type of job taken on by Anzan during this time has been fairly small jobs building web sites. As web sites have grown more sophisticated (evolving into web applications) and the tools used to develop web sites have multiplied and themselves, grown more sophisticated, we are seeing more and more need for the application of software engineering to web site development. The same concepts that ensure robustness and maintainability in other types of software aid the developer in ensuring that server side code is correct and complete and that a web site works with the wide range of available browser brands and versions.
